Wow... I'm so glad today is Friday. I'm so glad that I have tomorrow off!!

Today was one of those days that makes you want to hide under a rock. I had only three today plus my dd. One dcb just came back from being sick, and probably should have stayed home today, too because he was MISERABLE. I had to zip out to grab my son off the bus, and being as cold as it was I wrapped him and the stroller in extra blankets to keep him warm, (he was my last pick up today). As I was crossing the street on our way back, he pulled off the blankets and yanked off his mittens and proceeded to scream bloody murder because he was cold. Even when I hurried across the street and covered him and wrapped him back up he kept screaming. We got into the house and it turned into a tantrum, and he started smashing his head into the floor. Into the playpen he went until he calmed down.

Upon drop off my dcg's mom informed me she had a bit of the runs, but that she was teething. I said ok, because I didn't think that much of it, (my kids had icky poops while teething too). 1/2 an hour goes by and she poops.... and I mean poops. Pure watery poop, sickly smelling, and it leaked out all over her clothes. I cleaned her up, but she was just miserable too, and ended up going for nap 30 minutes early today because she couldn't keep her eyes open. I am convinced even though she had no fever that she was sick, and I will be spending the rest of my night disinfecting the toy room.

To top it off, my 2 yo dcb decided today was a good day to growl, yell, and test me. He's been going through a throwing stage, and if a toy is being thrown around a lot, I put it away. You throw it, you lose it. Well he didn't like that, and when I went to take the toy he was throwing away from him, he hit me in the face with it

These kids are usually so good. I don't know what the hell was going on today

Me and my hurting back are very glad that it is Friday....

The last hour of today was brutal. The kids were winey and parents waited to the last possible moment for pick ups. Come on people, it's Friday!! Come pick up your kids!!!

Oh no!! Doesn't sound like a good Friday at all!

I actually had a good Friday(plus it's payday) but than at 330, a mom texts me to say that she is giving her 2 weeks notice because Dad is laid off for 3 months. I hate the sudden surprise in income. I just filled a part time spot last week and had a few parents wanting full time so hopefully one of them still needs care!!

Yay for Saturday and Sunday!!

I have days like that too where I fantasize about picking up the phone and calling the parents because I have had enough
