    Opening a home daycare

    Hi Everyone!

New to this site. Planning on opening a home daycare in the very near future, I am a registered ECE but am struggling to find the current laws and regulations surrounding all things home based as well as laws surrounding numbers of allowable children. If anyone could direct me or help that would be greatly appreciated. Been searching various websites and it's about as clear a mud!!!

    I'm located in Cavan Ontario

If you let us know where you are located, it might make it easier to give you advice, as much of it varies from province to province.

You are allowed 5 daycare kids of any ages plus your own kids of any ages. However, there is a bill in the legislature right now that could change that...if and when it passes.

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
