Your load sounds pretty good come September. You may actually enjoy having less kids around during the day because it serves as a little break.

Perhaps it is the winter blues that are kicking in for you. January and February are my least favourite months of doing daycare. I find that January and February are really tough because we are inside more and the days seem long without us being able to be out as much.

If you do decide to terminate; then definitely decide which kids/parents are the easiest and will fit into your day the best. Try to visualize who you want in your daycare going forth

I know the feeling !!!! What I did was got rid of my full timers and condensed my part timers to Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday . I will be full but get a four day weekend !! Very excited !!!!
I have a 5 yr old dd and I feel like the days I have just my daughter is so worth the loss of wages !! And technically I'm only down one full time position and one part time mat leave .
Having the easiest going parents though that's crucial too !!

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!

We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
