One of my 13 month old daycare kids got a bump on his forehead this week. He was playing peek a boo around the corner and loved it when we pretended to catch him. He was having a great time and slipped during his getaway and landed forehead first.

I felt bad, apologized to mom and explained what happened and she said it was no issue because he seems to bump his head a lot even at home.

Then...the next night pick up she greets her son and says "And No bruises today" in a joking way/declaration.

She probably meant it to be funny but I didn't like it because it almost seems like it was still on her mind and holding it against me.

I hate injuries, I hate telling the parents about them but I also think falls will happen to every toddler.
