Honestly, depending on the parent, I would probably respond with a "Charming!" in my lovely English accent lmao I have had a little guy 2 1/2 say he doesn't want to come in and stand at the door in a huff. I just responded with a "tough, this isn't a choice, so come in please", and I took him by his hand and gently brought him inside. Its an attention thing that I know better than to buy into and his mother hasn't said anything in response to this but if any parent did, I'd politly tell them that they would be doing both of themselves a favour by discouraging the notion that this is even a choice. Some people just don't get it......
