    Concerned caregiver.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am just wondering if any other care giver has had contact with a family from Mexico who are planning to relocate to Canada in the next week or two? I am just feeling a little uneasy about my contact.

Yes. Do not accept them. They are scam artists. I had received their email, went as far as getting a certified check and than found out it was a scam to get my money.

Enter "Mexican scam" in the search line and you will see the threads already posted about it. It is a scam.

The best advice is to not accept any clients without meeting them first. There are a number of these scams going around and they're all similar. I think we had one provider on here last year who had an international couple who signed on and were actually legitimate, but generally, it's a scam.

Yes just follow the rule that you must meet all parents AND children in person before you book with them and you will never have any issues.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
