hi, i am new to the forum but i would like to ask some questions. i am looking into opening home daycare in toronto.
-i am in rental apartment whats the law? can i open home daycare here?
-where i can register without using an agency?
-what formal documents do i need to open? (not about the program etc. i am an Early Childhood Educator and have all the papers done but i am confised about "owning the bussiness"part if that makes sense?
    - do i open the bussiness as company or corporation?

Yes, you can open it. You do not need to work for an agency. You can legally open an unlicensed daycare (most of us here have done that). You only have to keep no more than 5 daycare kids plus your own.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
