A new found respect fir dcp

Hello everyone ! I decided to write a quick post to thank all dcp that devote themselves in this job everyday. I have put my career on hold to stay home with my kids and opened a daycare. After 2 years of planning, I opened 2 months ago and I LOVE it! I have never worked so hard for so little money (lol) and I don't regret it one bit. I have a new found respect for all of you who provide exceptional care.

I follow a few of you closely as I respect your opinions and look for ideas and advice. This board has helped me in the last few weeks and has reassured me that I'm on the right track on giving the best care I can offer. Thank you !

Good for you purple bunny! You are so lucky to have access to this site so early on. Luckily when I started I had someone who helped me out so I could call/email her with all my questions when things came up that I had no idea what to do. I would have loved to have known about Daycare Bear right from the start.

Thanks mickyc. I am lucky to have found this site early on. My husband thinks I'm a 'daycarebear' addict...lol. I'm on this site many times throughout the day. I love how dcp have a go to place to exchange their experiences and be able to vent with others who understand. And sometimes we can get a good laugh.
