I hurt my shoulder on Saturday...rotary cuff injury so not only does it restrict my exercising but also potentially could get worse if I'm not careful lifting my daycare crew. Today I am going to modify a lot of the exercises that are in my HIIT for example i do jumping jacks to get my heart rate up, instead I will substitute for jogging on the spot. Typically I get disheartened and quit at this point, but instead I am just going to try and modify. My purpose for exercise long term is to be strong, but initially I just want to form new habits of doing some kind of exercise everyday. At first it is just 15-20 minutes daily alternating HIIT with strength training on different areas of my body and I hope that over time I will enjoy it more and increase my activity and intensity levels.
