I do feel 100% better thank you Kellybelly83! And I'm back on track with my diet and exercise. I'm now down 9lbs and feel great. I've even been cooking and baking and haven't caved I LOVE my bike stand, thinking of selling my elliptical machine.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

so, I went on vacation to florida and just came back (was gone for 13 days-we drove) well, we had some rainy days while in florida so I decided to go to the gym. I started on the treadmill for 20 min. I thought I was going to die. So the next day I went again, and again and again. I would go in the morning and the afternoon, for a half hour. I started off 20 min on treadmill and then some weights. I can't believe how great I started to feel. Heck my clothes started to fit (if not loose) I couldn't believe it. So now I'm home and I'm looking into getting a treadmill from kijjiji. I like the fact that you can walk and run on it. So while I was going to the gym, dh started to join me too.

the only thing is that I noticed that I didn't lose any weight, but I bought the magazine from people (its the yellow cover thats on sale now) called "half their size" and some of the women said that as long as your noticing that your clothes are fitting better thats what matters. And its true.

today I put on a large shirt and it fit, couldn't believe it and my muffin top isn't hanging over my jeans like they use too. The only bad part is that I can see all my stretch marks (I've had 4 kids) and that stinks but dh thinks that they will dissappear as I get more toned and thinner (wishfull thinking lol)

I have a highschool reunion in may and my 40th birthday in september so I have some goals, but I want to wear a 2 piece bathing suit or a nicer tankini by my pool.

That's awesome! Good job! It was super rainy here yesterday so I hopped on my recumbent bike with my iPad....

As for stretch marks, I swear bio oil works wonders!! I had a small bottle and started using it on my lower tummy at night before bed. My husband pointed out how much lighter my stretch marks were on my lower tummy as opposed to the upper area, so now I'm using it everywhere lol, and it's making a big difference! Costco has a crazy deal on it, a small bottle and a huge bottle, for $25. It's definitely worth trying.

You lost fat and gained muscle. And muscle will help you burn more fat.

    Keep on going, girl!

I'm having such a hard time getting my act together. It seems that everywhere I turn there's an array of quick diet fixes which obviously aren't the answer and any number of exercise options but there really isn't anything out there dealing with the psyche of eating disorders. I know there is no quick fix and this is a lifestyle change but mentally I just can't seem to even get on track. When I'm not thinking about my family, job or school application I am obsessing about losing weight...if I drive anywhere I find myself fantasizing about being thin, it's ridiculous. And then when I let myself down I just feel even more guilty and hate myself for not trying hard enough, or at all. I would be happy if I was trying my best and going at a snails pace, but it just isn't happening. Without meaning to sound crazy it's as if my subconscious is trying to sabotage me/myself.

I have a friend who runs Zumba classes twice a week and I want to go. She has even said I can have a few free classes initially...she is doing what she can to encourage me and she knows I love to dance, but for some reason It is becoming an increasing occurrence that I find a reason, even a BS reason to not do anything for myself that does not include food, watching movies or enjoying a glass of wine. On the face of things I'm sure some people may think that I am just lazy but Ia sure you I'm not. I have complex PTSD and because I put every ounce of mental energy into caring for everyone else it leaves me depleted in the ability to meet my own needs. I think aswell because of my past failure my outlook is blue and it's like I commit to failing before I even try.

No magic pill, or one piece of advice to make my brain function differently but I really needed to vent. I have a treadmill, Jillian Micheals DVDs, and know a ridiculous amount of info on healthy nutrition but still do I do anything.....no! What the hell is wrong with me!!!!!

Sorry, I have been away from internet... i tried to reply on my phone but no luck lol

I'm sorry you are having such a rough go Bright sparks! I just hate how we can wear so many hats for the sake of others, but when it comes to ourselves we tend to sabotage our efforts. I definitely don't think you are wring to think we sabotage ourselves. Especially people (myself included) who have emotional "issues" at times. It's a sad cycle. I hope you can break free of it soon, because you deserve to be happy!

Try not to put so much pressure on yourself, I know that has REALLY worked wonders for me. Now get your ass to a free zumba class!!

Hang in there... one step at a time. Big hugs to you

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
