Still in second reading. Go to the legislature site and click on February look for Feb 20. That is the last date it was discussed and you can read what was said. Also if you click on at night they set the agenda for the next day and you can read that to see if the bill is on the docket or not.
The most recent attention the bill had was actually last week....March 4th. It was a continuation of debate over the second reading from Feb 20th so make sure you look up March not February to be up to date on the goings on.
I'm going to become a babysitter not a Home Daycare Provider. Think it would work?
I don't think verbage works. I think the laws are always more defined to stop that from happening. That would be like an unlicensed medical doctor referring to himself as a "Shaman" and then treating patients.
But, hey, go ahead and try it...we will all willingly let you be our guinea pig.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
