    I am LIVID!!

So today as I'm doing my weekly clean, I go to vacuum the front hall and guess what? Someone spit their gum out on my floor!!!! Seriously?? I know it wasn't one of the kids since they don't chew gum here and it wasn't there after morning dropoff. I can't believe someone would be so disrespectful! Gross!

That is gross. I had one of my previous clients watch as a piece of their kids banana fell onto my entrance carpet. (I have a no outside food policy which she ignored ) She then rubbed it into the carpet and then said "there, all gone". When she looked up she saw daggers coming out of my eyes. I agree, the disrespect is appalling.

I understand that sucks and it is gross but I wonder if maybe it was a complete accident e.g. they sneezed while chewing gum and didn't realize they lost it or something because they were also busy dropping off or picking up their kid. I doubt anyone would do this intentionally.

I am hoping that it was just a matter of it fell out and then they couldn't find it. I too have had parents bring their children in the house while still eating and crumbs getting all over the carpet. Drives me nuts. Or the mom who would give her child her bottle while getting her dressed only for the child to turn it upside down and leave it on the carpet to drip all over. And then there is the children who come in covered in their morning breakfast (that they ate in the car). I usually take the child and go wash their hands and face at the sink before I allow them to play. People just don't have a clue sometimes.

Ugh, gum is so hard to get out too!! Very disrespectful!

Mimi, I can't believe someone would rub banana into the carpet!! WOW

I have pretty good parents, (I even have a couple who will pick up the snow that their boots brought in and toss it outside!! Many others will pick up the snow and put it on the boot tray so it melts in there and not on my carpet) but on Friday I had a parent wear their boots downstairs after they knew that I had just washed the floor! Thankfully, there was no mess!!

That would make me angry as well. Probably fell out of their mouth or they sneezed and were too embarrased to get down and actually look for it.

I used to have a family that would arrive to pick up their son with Tim Horton cups in hand. A couple of times they actually left their empty cups on my stone bench just outside my door. I too was livid! When I confronted them, they denied it. But they were the only family that picked up with Tim Horton's cups in hand!

I termed them shortly after for completely different reasons, but surprise, surprise....no more empty Tim Horton cups on my bench after that.
