    Emergency Procedures?

Do you have an emergency plan in place, such as fire and earthquake or other natural disasters? We just had an earthquake over here in BC and it's got me thinking about my policies.
I have the children bring emergency packs and we Practise rise drills monthly. What do you do for an earthquake drill? Now I'm a bit worried I will actually need to use it...these days you never know when the big one is going to hit! Are we prepared?

I do monthly evacuation drills for events like fires. I also do monthly disaster drills for other disasters like tornados, etc. Better safe than sorry, right?

Hmmmm. I don't really practice with the kids, but I guess I should. I have an evacuation plan drawn up, with a meeting place, etc.
Do the kids get scared at all? The ones old enough to understand what you are practicing for? Or is it enough of a game to them?
