My worry is putting up with your income affected , and there's no way of knowing if you will indeed end up with both kids . Grandma or a friend helping out has cost me a couple of jobs already !
I would prob fill the full time spot and see what happens in the future , this business seems to have a high rate of turn over , at least for me !!

If you have it in your contract that you can terminate a part-time for a full-time child then maybe tell mom you cannot offer her the part-time spot any more and see if she is willing to start paying full-time now.

Are you getting paid when she is away sick? If you are I wouldn't worry about her not being there

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
