After School Kids - Rates for 1 hour of care?

$15 is a bit much. I charge $12

Remind the parent that the time starts when you start to get the gang ready to go to get their child and includes bringing him home, feeding him a snack and caring for him for that hour. My rates would be $15 for one time and $25 for the day.

Don't change your rate.
If she doesn't like it she can go elsewhere.
Just think about bundling up all the kiddos, possibly waking them from their nap to go and get this kid. What about in the miserable weather? Reallllllly think about that.
That is exactly why I don't do school age kiddos. Once my current group goes to school if they are still here than I may do it but until then no thanks.

A friend of mine charges $375 a month for b&a care !! I was charging $6 for just before and had a parent question it too !!!!
Then I asked what she charges and almost cried when I found out !!! She does do homework with them ( puts them at the table with hers)
I would stick to your prices too !!!
