Thanks ladies! Let me clarify, the current walker, I am paying $200 a month. Which works out to be $10/day. However, she is already walking to get her own kids, so it is not a huge interference to her. Plus her house is directly across from mine.

That is why I was curious how much is fair for someone whom may need to go out of their way. I believe min wage here was just raised to $11, from $10.25.

I am slowly trying to wean out my b/a school children, however, when I relocated to this town, I had to start fresh in terms of daycare and b/a was the huge demand, so that is what I went with.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
