    I can see the light!!!

My problem dcb's parents gave their notice today!! I'm sooooo relieved! I was on the cusp of doing it myself but I have trouble giving bad news so...

I sent a letter home yesterday basically saying things weren't working, gave some examples of his behaviour and suggestions for what to do to help. Mom wrote me a note this morning with a resounding 'no' or 'we don't see this issue at home' on all points (which in itself was incredibly disrespectful - the resources I'd given her SHE GAVE BACK in the envelope with her note ). But she then admitted it wasn't a good fit so they're going elsewhere. She agreed to pay for the notice period, but is hoping to find him a spot elsewhere sooner. I'm so so happy that there is finally an endpoint to look forward to.

Huge weight lifted! I can't wait to finally enjoy being a provider again!

Yayyyy!! Isn't it nice when your problem child leaves and you don't have to be the one who terminated!

Definitely! Although it would have been good for me to experience it for next time (though hopefully it doesn't happen again)!

Put your feet up, have a glass of wine or chocolate and celebrate to better days ahead in your daycare!

That was very disrespectful of DCM. She is obviously in denial that her child can do no wrong. Wait until the next provider has issues. My guess is they do "know" their child has issues but would rather jump to another provider then actually have to be a parent and work on these issues.

Not your problem anymore. Good riddance.

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
