As you know I had a crier. He came today and it was back to square one. I terminated effective immediately when the Mom picked up. When I said I had bad news she new, she said he's terminated right. I feel so so so bad. I told her as a courtesy I would watch him Wed. and Thurs. also, so as to give her a few days to make alternate arrangements. I didn't want to see her stuck. I said there would be no charge for today if he doesn't return the rest of week, (my loss of a days pay but it's worth it)but if he does come she would owe me for the week. My contract states for immediate termination there is no refund of deposit. This is only the second term in all my daycare days.

That was very nice of you to offer that. It's also a good thing you know your limits. Hopefully he will find a daycare that better suits him. Try not to feel too bad!! We can't win them all!

Some times it just doesn't work ! I don't like terming either , I feel so awkward !
