I like when everything cleans up easily, it's easy for the kids to help, and it doesn't look cluttered. That's not to much to ask right? My newest project is a shelving system from ikea, super affordable and can be rearranged easily. My playroom is yellow and gray, and I put the shelving system on the yellow wall, to tone it down a bit.
So far the only part that is done is the puzzles. I ditched all the puzzle boxes, bought some containers from ikea and taped pictures of the puzzle onto the lid. Now they're easy to stack, the kids can get them by themselves (and clean them up by themselves! ) and it looks so nice.

LOVE yellow and grey!! At the craft show at the keystone this past weekend there was a lady selling yellow and grey stuffed owls. They were so nice! My friend bought one and I'm kicking myself for not getting one too. I don't really have a use for it though and they are far too nice to be a daycare toy lol. Would be perfect in a baby's room tho!

I love yellow and grey too. On the yellow wall, the shelves are white, and I found really cute plastic bins at dollarama so I stocked up on white and grey ones. If I ever get it done, I'll try to take some pictures. I guess I'm more excited about this than I realized!
And on the original topic, the little grumpy child wasn't as bad as he could have been! I've seen him worse. Lol
