I'm with you on the classy 5 lm !!! My playroom looked more like caillou's house than mine !! So that is why I am redoing !! I have the colourful matts as well but right now my walls are bare !! And I love it !! I bought white shelves as I was going to copy a pintrest idea , they put the white shelves on the wall and painted a fluffy white cloud over it !!! Looks adorable but I'm so happy with the nice plain gray walls !!
I've made my life very busy !! My mom was very ill at my age and I think somewhere I took her advice of live well you can to the extreme !! ( not surprisingly !!)
I'm sorry about your back !! That really effects everything !!! I would love to see your dayhome room !! I have been looking at pintrest playrooms and wow !!!! So would like to redo my theme as well but soo much money went into those floor mats !! I have gone into a maple wood ( not my fav) but it looks like a preschool room , if I could do it all over and money was no object I think I would do a earthy , natural with dark chocolate and cream and black as the colours ! I saw the cutest wooden flat owls and imagined a giant dark chocolate tree painted on a cream wall with them !! Sigh !!!
