    What are your fees?

Just going to do a fee increase in a couple of months and just wondering what all you charge?

I reduce my fee by $10 for days they let me know ahead of time that they won't be here. For the most part, it works. There are a few parents who will drop off the odd time to do errands or what not which is understandable.

The only time it really annoys me is when they are off, send me a picture of what they're doing at home and their child is at daycare with a cold ....grr!!! lol

I'm not sure how parents leaving their kids all day when they are off makes you want a raise? You either charge a daily rate and assume they will stay all day or charge an hourly rate if that makes you feel like you are being paid for the time.

Raising your fees is fine but I certainly wouldn't give this as a reason. I think it's pretty standard to increase by rate of inflation or a few buck a day.

Unfortunately, as per my sick policy, he wasn't sick enough to make them pick up. If she was working it wouldn't have bothered me but knowing that she's at home crafting while her son is at daycare not 100% healthy, I admit it irked me. Also doesn't help that I'm sick as well and worked yesterday with a massive sinus headache that was borderline migraine like.

For the most part, I don't really care why your child is in dc as long as you pay me but I'm human and from time to time I just shake my head in wonder....
