Agreed that $300 might not be realistic. In NS, I've never seen one in decent condition for less than $400.

Have you used one before Ashley? They can be incredibly heavy without the children in and difficult to steer. Might not be so bad if you live in a flat area but here, we have steep hills in all directions and there's no way I'd be able to use one long term without getting significant long term damage to my back.

Another option which is commonly used by carer's in this area, is a wagon. Little Tykes have an explorer wagon which has a flat bed and no seats so you can get 4 two year olds in it. There are two models. One has a wheel on each corner and those are fine but a little harder to steer as if turning a sharp corner sometimes the wheel doesn't rotate so it's sideways, if that makes sense. It's simple enough to rectify but a bit inconvenient. The other model has the two front wheel on an axle which the handle attaches to. This means when you turn a corner, the axle turns and so the wheels steer properly.

I've had a wagon for years now. It's great for popping in the extras when crossing a road but once mine are able to walk, they do so. I can switch in and out anyone whose getting a little tired.
