I managed to find an EUC foundations quad stroller from a daycare centre. They wanted $500 but I got it for $425 so I agree, $300 might be too low!

I am in love with it! lol. It pushes like a dream even with 4 kids in it. Turning it is easy even though the front wheel doesn't turn. I haven't used it in snow yet though. I used to have a wagon but found that pulling a wagon was harder on my back pain than pushing a stroller. I also like to be able to see the kids and monitor what they are doing and a stroller is better for this.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I hope you are able to find something in your price range. We go for walks often and I enjoy them so much more now

***whoops, mine is a runabout not a foundations lol
