    Yellow discharge out of nose

Does anyone keep children who have yellow discharge out of daycare. In all honesty, I don't understand why parents send their sick child to daycare. There is no issues with this family taken the time off, as dad can work from home. When, I get sick, I close the daycare, don't send your sick child to daycare grrrr

It's in my sick policy that yellow discharge is a reason to stay home as it's usually a sign of an infection.

No. As long as there are no other symptoms.

They are allowed to come here, only have to stay home if it is accompanied by a fever, diarrhea, rash.

Same as AmandaKDT. As gross as a green or yellow snotty nose is. If there's no fever or other signs they can come. Sometimes those kind of noses can last awhile.

    Angry

If there is a yellowish-greenish discharge don't let them come! I made this mistake thinking nothing could happen and I have had bronchitis for a week!
