I think people have to start getting informed themselves rather than just believing everything they read or hear in the media. I don't have that kind of mentality that you described. I do lots of research to form an opinion based on facts, but sometimes even that is difficult without being biased. Mumps was a huge problem when I was a child at school even though we were all vaccinated against it, but I would never wish that on anyone so MMR and fingers crossed it is!
