    I usually line their boots up in the correct way and ask them to put them on. If they have it wrong, I tell to switch their boots, they are on wrong. They don't tend to notice, (but mine are all 2yrs old, so I wouldn't expect them to notice. You wld think at age 3 they would 'feel' wrong..). The stickers on the shoes are a good idea too, but cld get worn out fast. Another sticker idea is to cut a large sticker in half and place them on the toes or inside of the shoes. Ask they to match the sticker to complete the smiley face or whatever is on it. Would get worn out fast too but may just need to be replaced weekly or so.
