The stickers are a good idea...I don't have much advice here. I have a 4yo dck in JK that constantly has her boots and shoes on the wrong foot, and has no idea whatsoever that they "feel wrong." I've tried explaining that the straps on her snow boots do up on the outside, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Might try the stickers though!
