I agree, flowerchild. Do not provide care come Thursday morning until paid in full.
Do we really think his hydro, water, electric and phone companies will be willing to extend him 5 days grace due to a "bank issue"? I think not!
He is choosing who needs to be paid first, the other debtors came first and you seem to have fallen to the bottom of the "owing" pile.

Wow ! That is terrible. I hate having to ask parents for money- it seems disrepectful that we should have to hound someone when we performed the work in good conscience.

I don't believe a bank takes that long to resolve issues unless he is suddenly getting separated and the assets are frozen. Any other banking issues are dealt with very swiftly.

Do you have a security deposit incase he walks? Hopefully you at least have a week's deposit to recover your week of income if worse comes to worse.

We shouldn't have to ask parents for the money they owe, and we certainly should not have to chase parents for it either, after we have already cared for their children. If the tables were turned, Parents would have a flippin' hayday if their workplace told them they couldn't pay them until a week from now. Imagine!

I don't have a deposit from this dcp that i can put forward.

Yep unfortunately. And apparently, that's ok for parents to do?. Are my expenses not as important as his? I don't want to put everything on credit card when i usually use the cash for groceries and bills.
