how is your house set up. can you just go outside while she naps? bring the monitor? when she wakes bring the kids in and grab her to head back out (with the warming weather this won't be so hard). If you are comfortable with this tell the parents and give them the option of no nap or she naps while you are outside.
My daughter is the same...an amazing sleeper but NEVER sleeps in the car or stroller. Never has. At home you can plop her in her bed any time and she'll happily curl up and put herself to sleep.

Ok we'll if she is fine without the nap then just don't put her down .... What the parents do at home on weekends is up to them ..... But I really don't see the problem just don't nap her!!

I usually phase out morning naps within a month of child starting. I will accomodate 30 minutes in the morning and that's it. After a month we cut it out completely. What parents do at home on the weekend is up to the but here 1 nap only from 1230-3

My daughter needed her two naps until she was almost 2. She was such a mess if she didn't have both naps. If this child is fine without it, and can make it all the way to afternoon nap, just go about your regular routine, and don't put her down to sleep.

Hmmm... refreshing, a parent that wants their child to nap at daycare. That's a bit of an exageration, but mostly when I talk to a parent about nap it's because they don't want them to nap. But, really, a nap is anytime you fall asleep, for any length of time, so if you want to stop the 2 naps because of the daily schedule, just shorten the morning one. It won't go one forever, after all.

Mine were super cranky this morning and hungry so we had early lunch. They were in bed at noon and I woke them up at 3!!!! I hope it doesn't affect bedtime too badly!

Lol, I admit, it was a nice break!! But I do sometimes wonder if it messes up their bedtime routine. I've read that naps don't but eventually (as they get older) it just naturally would IMO. They usually sleep 2.5 hours so 3 isn't terribly longer but I was expecting them to wake up at 230. I don't know how long they would have napped had I not woken them!! All 4 sleep in the same room too so it's nice that they are all on the same schedule. 2 do have colds right now so I'm sure that played a part in their tiredness!!
I've probably jinxed myself now and today's nap will be hell!!!! LOL
