    If you don't enforce your boundaries, you can't expect parents to follow rules.

    If it were me, I would have said when Dad texted last night that she might not have a fever now but did earlier and the policy requires full 24 hours excluded from daycare. End of discussion. Had they showed up this morning, they would have been turned away.

    In term of homeopathic meds, I not care. My policy is 24 hours without the use of meds to hide symptoms. My contract also state that I have the final word in determining if child fit for day care. Since this child clearly not well yesterday, she not able to fully participate in day's activities so that mean she need be home.
