Hi ladies!
I hope everyone is having a good Monday. I have an issue that I am dealing with and I have no idea how to solve the problem. I was going to do my own home daycare 8 months ago but had surgery and had to wait until I was okay. Eight months ago I had this bright idea of renting out an apartment (I have two that I am currently renting out in the same building) I use both for living but one is more daycare then the other ( whole apartment is daycare except the bedroom).
I find that people don't like this or I'm just feeling very discouraged. I had three interviews last week and they all fell through. The families said they loved me loved the program but the location isn't good. I had 5 interviews set up for this week and 2 out of the five cancelled as soon as I gave them my address.
This contract is done in October 1st ( thank god) but unless I fill up my spaces I can't save to get a house.
There was a mom who ran a home daycare a year ago in this building on the same floor, she opened in Sept and filled by Jan.
The condos are very nice, we have 2 great parks near by and a Early Years Centre.
I am on the top floor (11th) because this floor was the most quite and had the least amount of residents.
I balcony doors have 5 locks on them and our pretend play kitchen set goes all the way across so there's no way of getting out.
Any insight and advice with my so appreciated
