I am so confused and was wondering if someone here can help me who has gone through EI for the self employed.

I called Service Canada to follow up re: what maternity benefits- they said I should have gotten a letter from the CRA after registering last August and I should call them. Call CRA- they say that they don't have any information about that on their end. I never got a bill for EI payments for the year. I asked my accountant when I did my taxes and he said they will send me something...accordin g to CRA I have nothing owing. Argh!

So now I've confirmed I enrolled in the program in August. CRA said they are sending me a letter re: needing more information but wouldn't tell me what its for...argh hope its not an audit! I do not need that headache right now!
