Before and after school in Ontario

    Hello,

Im trying to find any information in Day Nursery Act about whether one requires a license to operate before and after program in Ontario for school age kids, but it seems DNA does not talk about it at all. I'm not talking about home based program but rather stand alone before and after program in commercial space with transportation from\to school.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes you'll need a license. If you offer just b/a care in your home u don't need a license but can only have 5 kids up to age 13yrs. But if you want to do it in a building off site from where u live you'll need a license. The DNA is going to soon be replaced with the new rules found in BILL 10. So,Google bill 10 to find new rulings
