Oh gosh I feel your pain. I also have a 1 year old doing the same...then suddenly this week (week 3 into transition); boom...this kid comes Monday morning...no tears...napping beautifully....final ly eating....RELIEF! Some things that have helped me in the past (although they did not in the case of this little guy who was inconsolable): Have a playpen in the room (with rotating toys and a comfort item) or a booster chair elevated up...rotate between floor and those areas....I find some are on sensory overload and fearful on the floor...it seems to calm. If you are completely overwhelmed...place them in another room in a playpen (just to give yourself a break!). The constant crying is so stressful on the entire group. Hoping for better days ahead!
