    Calls, Emals and More Calls?

Has anyone been getting an influx of parents looking for care in 2016? I can't tell if people are finding a shortage of spaces due to Bill 10 or is it just a peak time?

I'm just curious what others' experiences have been and whether you find that you are getting more calls and emails for 1 year olds for 2016 also.

Me too! I am getting a lot of inquiries for Feb which is when I am closing for my mat leave.

That's another issue though. I can't seem to get any interest for my empty spot. No one wants a temporary spot and I already have 2 under 2 yrs old so I am kinda screwed.

I've gotten a few as far as September 2016 with parents who have literally just had their babies. That is not totally crazy but odd that it was 2 in the span of one week looking that far ahead and stranger still is that don't have an active ad but people are trying to secure a spot and see if I have one.

Yep. I've turned away dozens in the past few months....at least 2-3 weekly. All for one year olds. I've even had a potential client who hadn't even conceived yet, and several who are at varying stages of pregnancy. I'm booked solid for at least 2-3 years.

They were drinking the Liberal kool-aid with everyone else who doesn't understand the industry.
