Just need ideas of how to do a daily schedule. Early drops off at 5:00 am and picks 6:00 pm. Thank you.

My hours are 7-5 so my schedule would be very different then one with hours of 5am to 6 but my friends daycare with the same hrs are as such:

    5am- drop off
    6am-7- breakfast served
    7-830- free play inside
    830-930- craft or sensory activity
930-10- am snack and potty/diaper change
    10-1130- outside time
    1130-1230- lunch and potty/diaper change
    1230-3- nap/quiet time
    3-330-pm snack and potty/diaper change
330-4- free play inside and clean up
4-5- outside play as some pickups happen
5-6- free play inside until all picked up

that's a long freakin day (for you and the kids)! How old is the child that comes at 5am? I would be thinking maybe about a short am nap as well or have them arrive in pjs and lay down for a bit.

Just whenever the school child is there they do whatever u are doing with the rest of the kids. The schedule is the same for all. Obivously u make it age appropriate. Like if the school child is there all day for a pd day then you'll have to think of a more older craft from them to do instead of one the toddlers are doing. During free play for a school child they might bring their "screen" from home, iPad, iPod, handheld gaming thing, etc that they can use then and/or during quiet time. During nap u may also wish to play a movie.

If you are doing bus runs then incorporate that into your daily schedule. So like 8am u may have to go outside to the bus stop then come in for free play/craft. Or stay out and have outdoor play first so ur not undressing and dressing kids all day. Then come in for snack/craft and play inside. And then 3 u probably go pick them up then come home inside to have snack. Or if it's nice stay out to play and bring snack outside. Just do whatever works for u. Everyone has different schedules to suit them and their activities
