Hi Daycaremom9, if you are in BC it is required by Licensing and it costs $20 for each person over 18 years old staying at the house and you can do it at the lic office and pay by credit card, but if your MIL is still too sick I am sure your Lic officer would understand or you could say they just arrived and you will arrange it when your MIL is a little better - Goodluck
