Prospective parent hasn't asked about my prices...

Alrighty, so I'm not sure if I should be worried or not, but I have a parent who wants to arrange a meeting to see the daycare etc, but there have been no inquiries about the daily/weekly fees for care. I did not have it posted in the ad, so my thought was anyone replying would be asking about it pretty early on.
I feel like I should mention it, but then again I feel weird about it as if it were me looking for a daycare space I would be the one asking, not waiting to be told.
Would it be weird to set a meeting date and include the cost of care in the same email? Or should I just wait until they come and discuss it then?

Are your fees higher than the norm? If so then I would bring it up to ensure you aren't wasting your time. If you fee is pretty average (or a tad above) then I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah my fee is around average for my area. It seems as though this parent might have searched through enough ads to be aware of the average price too, so hopefully it isn't a waste of time.
    Thanks!

For some parent, fee is irrelevant. They know range and can afford high end. They looking for right daycare for their child and fee not something they concerned about.

I would raise it in the interview. If it was a key element for parent, they would have asked.

Yeah, I think I'll feel better discussing it with them in person as opposed to email. A part of me was thinking the same thing, that maybe the price wasn't as important and it was more about finding the right fit for their child and needs etc.
I just worry a lot haha!

I would mention it now just so that I don't waste my time with meeting a family that doesn't like my fee or can't afford it.

However, I do think if they haven't asked yet, they can probably afford the higher end....but you just never know and like I said, I don't like to waste my time.

some parents like to go around and see a few daycares and then decide on which daycare feels the best fit for them and the fee is not a issue

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
