I think it's common for parents to have multiple drop off's when they have school age and preschool children. I wouldn't worry too much about them leaving!

I think a lot of home daycares just take children 4 and under. I certainly would not be taking a group out for bus runs. Luckily my daughters bus stops right at our road. If it didn't I would have to put her in a before/after school program at the school.
