    Whatever happened to....

Any updates on the member who had a court case and was being sued by the parents for reporting them to CFS?

Yes, she sounded in good spirits when talking about opening up a daycare for the older children , as she just wanted to get away from the young children and I don't blame her after her experience

Hi 5 little monkeys, thanks for asking about me. I'm doing okay. I suffer from depression and PTSD from the whole situation. I almost lost my house and my marriage. I'm working with my sister cleaning houses and I crochet a lit to help me cope.i lost my voice for almost s year. It's amazing what stress does to your body. I am now filing a complaint against the paralegal. I lost my case because I didn't have good representation. Unfortunately I'm doing it all on my own as I don't have money for s lawyer. The little money which was raised from a go fund me account my sister opened went to pay fir the transcripts which was $1500. When I get healthier emotionally I still would like to make changes within the policies on mandatory reporting and how it should be mandatory that in any court case CAS workers must testify. I know if they would have testified in my case I would have one. Thanks again for thinking about me.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
