I like defined spaces in a large daycare room otherwise it has a tendency to become a big old mess. My current daycare room is much smaller than I'd like, silver lining is we are forced to clean up regularly and limit the amount we have out at any given time. I can not have defined spaces as a result. In my old space I would have toy storage splitting up the room, my dream daycare would be half carpet and half vinyl so we could have water play and messy play indoors. Now I do that kind of thing in my kitchen along with mealtimes.
