Do you ask for full name of potenial family before meeting?

Curious if any of you request a full name or personal
Email address of potential clients before setting up time to meet?
Reason I ask, is I have someone inquiring via Kijiji and she wants to meet. Twice, I have asked for a direct email address to take our communication off Kijiji and she's ignored both attempts. Is it wrong to ask for a full name before allowing people into our homes? I have never not known someone's full name and its odd to me!

No. I always ask for personal email and full name so I know who I am expecting. If she is refusing I'd be weary. If she really needs care and wants to meet then she shouldn't have a problem with atleast giving a first name and her email. I know kijiji now blocks emails so they don't show up. So to ask her for her direct email shouldn't b a problem. In my eyes.

Some people are shy about giving their name and email out so I just go with the info they like to give which may be first name and phone number then when they visit they are more comfortable in giving more info

I actually think kijiji has settings now that make it so you can't send a real email address via their messages. Perhaps they are sending it and kijiji is changing it to their weird coded emails?

I would get their phone number via kijiji then call and get all those details from them before meeting them. If they balk at providing it via phone then I would be suspicious.

I had many inquires through Kijiji I always ensure to speak with them over the telephone before I give out my address.
