Venting!!

I am soooo frustrated! Everywhere I go I hear people tell me 'Oh you must be the babysitter for all these children!' or 'Wow, you have a lot of kids'. It makes me so angry to hear people and their assumptions on what my job is.

I am an Early Childhood Educator, I went to school, I currently am still continuing my education for my ECE Degree! When will this field get more respect for what we actually do all day long with families children? Sigh.... thanks for listening

I dont think we will ever get the respect... raising children is a HUGE job and a very important job... especially someone elses child. Good for you for continuing your education. Dont let it get to ya! WE know we are important and the parents sometimes do... oneday maybe that will change but I highly doubt it!
