    Changing schedules

what do you charge for parents that change their schedule. Some months they need part time than fulltime. How would you go about stating this on contract

For me they would be paying full time for all months. Now having said that if they are 3 days or less on their part time weeks I might agree to a weekly rate that would work out to 4 days and apply to all weeks so they feel like they are getting a deal and I get a few days a month with less kids. I would only do it if they had one child though not two as that would have me losing too much income. You need to remind the parents that they are paying to reserve a space in your daycare so that it is there when they need it regardless of how many days a week they use. It also means they are allowed to bring their kids even on days they aren't working because they are paying for it.

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
