Does anyone have a cute Christmas poem?

    Hi
I am making Christmas cards with the DCKs next week and was hoping to glue a cute Christmas poem on the back.
So far I have looked online but don't see anything that is really from a child's point of view or cute to give the parents.
    Does anyone have anything?

I got a cute one today....but its not for a card but for "reindeer food"... I thought I would share it anyway....take a ziploc baggie (snack size), fill it with red and green glitter (or blue and white would look nice too), christmas/snowflake confetti, some bird seed, some oat flakes, mix all together and print out this little poem to add to the bag....

Sprinkle on the lawn at night.
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
    Santa's reindeer fly and roam.
This will guide them to your home.

Kids will love sprinkling it at home on the snow on Christmas Eve (if we get snow that is!!)

I have also used this one in the past....but I subbed Christmas instead of Xmas....and "parents or a parent" instead of "a child like you!"

The best gift at Xmas is easy to see
Its not wrapped in paper or under the tree
Cos' the best gift at Xmas and all the year through
Is having a child as special as you!

    Hope that helps!

Oh thanks. I have seen this one before but totally forgot about it. That might be a great idea for next week

    I found these on verses4cards.co.uk

    Now that it's Christmas
    I really have to say
Thank you Mum for all you do
    In your quiet efficient way

    I don't know how I'd cope
    Without you by my side
I know that life would be
    A very bumpy ride

As the seasons come and go
    And Christmas time arrives
    It takes the festive season
    To make me realize

I do not take the time to say
    I appreciate all you do
So a very Merry Christmas, Mum
And lots of love to you

    ***********

Of the Christmas gifts I'll receive
And of those in the past, I've had
There's none compares to the best of gifts
    That's you...thanks, Mum and Dad

    ******

Love the reindeer food idea! I am making up spme little baggies like that for a couple of parties we are hosting this weekend.
And I am doing some that have this little poem:
"I spoke with Santa, and this is the scoop
Coal is expensive; so here is some SNOWMAN POOP!"
(accompanied by a handful of mini marshmallows, lol)
Not really heartwarming but still cute!
