    Covid19 coping?

How are you guys and your families doing? If you are re- opening what safety cleaning procedures are you using? If you have stayed open how did you keep everyone healthy?

    Hi
So I am about to reopen, have been closed since mid-2018. Definitely a lot to think about with COVID!
I would say that I am confident in my policies and practices for when I open potentially next month. I have policies in place to temperature check kids upon arrival and another time during the day. We are not socially distancing -it's impossible with kids. We will be washing hands before and after activities as well as when the kids arrive in the morning and before parents pick up. My husband is also building a UVC disinfection cabinet for me to help with my cleaning routine. A lot of toys will go into the UV for sanitizing, but I am also cleaning with bleach.
Take your time developing your policies, stand your ground, and remember its your business.
    Cheers

Finally that somebody started this topic! Thank you! I wish more people would participate..
I am also going to reopen next month,But am really kind of scared of how it will be and what to do in certain situations!?
I think ceparating them and keeping them from each other is too hard and not fair, for they like to be close and play like that.
I don’t know however how to set up my new policy on the symptoms in case they get runny nose(that is one of the covid symptoms),coughing or similar?? Should I tell the parents that at this time those symptoms are not welcome in my day care, just because this is much more serious than any regular cold or flu?
What are your policies right now?

What I am going to do when I re-open is:
    -Temperature check at the door
-no parents will be stepping in, pass and run and text when you pick up so I can have child ready
-no sickness at all at daycare anymore (no sniffles, no cough, no head cold)
-no bags coming in. (Leave extra outfit here)
Children can’t social distance at this age, but I will do extra cleaning throughout the day and lots of hand washing. I also may keep my group at 4 and not fill my 5th spot right now as this will help keep group smaller. I have some part-times and have also considered making everyone full time ime so there are less families in and out? Not sure about that yet.

I plan to open in September. I'm also concerned about symptoms. Little ones are always coughing and have runny noses. Is it fair to call parents if there's no fever but runny nose? It's so difficult to judge since lil ones tend to get colds in the fall and winter. I won't be doing temp checks unless the child is behaving differently, however going to disinfect surfaces, toys and floors regularly. Germs are a part of life and we cannot be totally germ free, but we can all do our part to keep this virus under control. Good luck out there fellow child care workers!

Agree. I'm tired of sitting at home with the whole family. I have this https://admission-writer.com/blog/em...pplement-essay to learn. So boring!

Hi, you're right it will be hard. Fortunately I decided to open way before. Because as they are speaking September can bring a second wave, maybe you should not worry because if the numbers of infections go way too high, then I'm sure they will close all again😔

At this point we are open and working day by day. I had cancelled long term plans or children starting months after. I'm working with families that need childcare now.

Fall will be hard but, currently any little health issue is been addressed. So no tolerance sniffles, coughs etc. The child will have to be kept st home.

It feels like we already got used to this way of life. The main problem was money, so I was looking for a way to earn online. My friend suggested me this online casino quatrocasino.info. I was really sceptic about it, but i decided to try since they offer no deposit bonus and I didn't have to use my money from the start. In my first day i won 100$ and since then I have regular money income.
