Stittsville Childcare Centre is a non profit daycare licensed by the Ministry of Education located in Stittsville, Ontario. We have been providing quality childcare for over ten years for children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years. Our staff are qualified with Standard First Aid and Infant and Child CPR, have Criminal Record Checks for the Vulnerable Sector, and many are registered with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators or are working toward attaining their ECE diplomas. At SCC our team's philosophy embraces "How Does Learning Happen" and Early Learning for Every Child Today - ELECT documentation as presented by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Working together we offer a nurturing environment for the children and families of our centre.
We have Toddler and Preschool programs as well as before and after school care for Kindergarten and School Age children. During the summer we do a full camp program. Additionally, we now offer a Nursery program, Drop in program and Mommy and Me program.
For families who are teachers and do not require care during the summer months we offer a break in payment for July and August while reserving your child's space for September.
Admission conditions
Children joining our Toddler program must be a minimum of 12 months of age and be walking.
