Lambton Park Child Care Centre is located within Lambton Park Community School in the St. Clair and Scarlett Road area.
We have adapted our programs to meet the health and safety requirements surrounding COVID-19. Individual art supply bins are created for all children to ensure no sharing of materials. Seating is arranged to ensure physical distancing can be maintained. Toys and learning materials are disinfected between users. Clear barriers are placed on creative art tables between children.
We offer a full day preschool program with nurturing Early Childhood Educators. Our planned program followed the principles of Emergent Curriculum. Creative and stimulating activities are planned daily for both indoor and outdoors. Music and language group time activities are planned throughout the day. Our playground offers a newly built climbing structure, trike path, sand box and green areas. Special events and field trips are planned throughout the year. A hot lunch is provided along with morning and afternoon snacks.
Our Kindergarten program offers program options including before and after school, non-instructional school days, March break and summer program. Daily activities are planned to offer children opportunities to be creative, investigate learning, socialize with other children and develop their language and music skills. Outdoor activities are planned every afternoon in our playground that boasts a climbing structure, trike path, sand box and green area. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided daily. Hot lunch is provided for during March Break and the summer program. Our staff are fully qualified and registered Early Childhood Educators.
Our School age program for students in grades 1 to 6 offers program options of before/after school, P.A. Day full day as well as a March break and summer camp program.
Daily activities are planned to include science/nature, creative arts, language, math, social opportunities and outdoor play!
Students are encouraged to participate in the planning of the daily program.
Our staff are fully qualified and registered Early Childhood Educators.
Admission conditions
Children in the kindergarten and school age program program must attend Lambton Park Community School. Children out of the school area may attend the kindergarten program if they are enrolled in the Before and After School Program.
