EHW Child Care Society (located in the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital) is a licensed and accredited child care program. It is inspired by both Reggio Emilia and by the philosophy and methods of Magda Gerber and Dr. Emmi Pikler, and welcomes children of all abilities.
The program offers morning and afternoon snack, a weekly music program, a weekly swimming program for the preschoolers, and developmentally appropriate programming tailored to each child’s interests and needs, provided by skilled educators in a caring environment, with an average adult-to-child ratio of 1 to 4 in the infant and toddler room, and 1 to 5 in the preschool room.
Edmonton Hospital Workers Child Care Society is excited to have been named one the 100 new Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Centres across Alberta.
