Established in 1988, Cliffwood Community Childcare Centre is proud to provide quality early childhood education and care to the local community.
Cliffwood Community Childcare Centre is a non-profit, licensed child care, which currently serves children aged from 18 months up to 12 years.
We are located within the main building at Cliffwood Public School and currently offer Toddler, Pre-School, Kindergarten (both full and part-time), as well as school age programs (also full and part time).
Many of our children also attend the in-school language programs offered by TDSB at Cliffwood Public School (currently Mandarin or Farsi). More details of these programs can be found at the TDSB website. They can also transition to the French immersion program at Cliffwood PS if they choose to do so.
We operate on all school PA days, during March break, and also during the summer recess. We are however closed for recognised Canadian holidays such as Family Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day etc. Full details of our closures can be found in the calendar posted on our website.
Our summer program does require additional fees for all children attending. These are not included in the daily rates posted in our listing here but the exact fees can be found on our website. Depending on the age range of your child (Kindergarten or older) a small additional fee may also apply on PA days. Attendance on PA days is optional and you may choose to keep your child home without affecting your placement status at the centre.
Our children tell us that our summer school program is a positive and engaging highlight for them with many in-centre activities, as well as day trips to fun and interesting locations. The summer programs are carefully planned separately for each age group so that there are lots of interesting things for all age groups to get involved in. If you are eligible, a child care fee subsidy may be available to help you with the cost of child care. More details are available on the City of Toronto website.
